Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
My personal and professional journeys allow me to work alongside patients to build a trusting and authentic partnership in the therapeutic space. I currently work with adults, working to build a secure therapeutic relationship with my patients, with whom traditional behavioral therapies have not been successful. I practice through a relational psychodynamic lens and hope to build a healing therapeutic relationship to assist you on your journey to self-exploration.
Therapy is an enriching and rewarding process. I create individualized treatment for all patients I work with and invite you to reach out when you are ready.
Supervision
Individual supervision has been a vital part of my growth as a mental health practitioner. I offer supervision for provisionally licensed therapists seeking to obtain full clinical licensure. At this time, I can supervise clinicians holding LSW and LPC licensure in the states of Illinois and Montana.
Supervision, in contrast to consultation, has a broader focus on the professional development, education, and training of the pre-licensed supervisee. It aims to ensure the supervisee's competency, adherence to ethical standards, and growth as a therapist. Supervision covers multiple cases, reviews therapeutic techniques, explores transference and countertransference dynamics, and supports the supervisee's personal and professional development.
Consultation
The primary focus of consultation is to provide guidance, expertise, and support to another therapist or healthcare provider regarding a specific case or clinical situation. The consultant offers their insights, recommendations, and alternative perspectives to enhance the quality of care provided to clients and help the consulting therapist navigate challenging or complex issues.
